I am a morning person. Often I wake with the dawn and take advantage of an amazing feature of my bedroom. I watch the day be born through my sliding door while listening to the dawn birdsong. It is a genuinely gratifying way to start the day.

Another morning habit is sending hello messages to several friends who I don’t see very often. Even if we don’t have a long conversation on the daily, it is a great way to keep in touch. Sometimes I may take a cheeky snap to send with my hello.

Mr HC is a big fan of these greetings.
