I had a quick scroll through my phone and the album I keep my images in and came up with these

At the start of the year, Cyclone Alfred threatened Brisbane. There was mass panic and hysteria as people unused to such a weather system prepared and then waited as Alfred changed course and seemed to tease the South East Queensland coast. Ultimately, it was a fizzer for many people, and those most affected lived to the south of Brisbane in New South Wales.

It rained a lot, so Mr Jones and I took the opportunity to create some wet t-shirt shots

On a grey day in June, Mr Jones found ourselves in Springsure. Minerva National Park was unlike anything we had seen before or would see again on this trip. Sitting on the edge of the Outback, it was harsh and rocky.

People make jokes about sending texts to family members at the other end of the house. But sometimes when you have your children living in your house, it is the only way to capture a moment. I took this one night while we were sitting on the couch watching a movie.

We need a sign for Velella that says, “Land of No Pants”. What is Mr Jones looking at? An inboard motor. This was taken a few days after we took ownership of Velella, when every little rattle and squeak had to be investigated.

I love this photo. To me, the hands are saying to the viewer that I love this part of my body even though it is the least perfect part. I have worked hard to accept this shape. Sometimes it is still challenging to see the beauty in it.
