I loved TMI Tuesday when it was running. In my contemplation of what I want to do with this blog, I have decided to use some old sets of TMI questions that tickle my fancy. So welcome to TMI Tuesday revisited. This set of questions is from 14 July 2015

1. What places have you visited in the last year that you know you will never visit again?

This time a year ago I was travelling across the Canadian Rockies. I absolutely want to go back there. The second part of that journey was a cruise through the Alaskan Inside Passage to Anchorage. It is highly unlikely that we will ever do that again.

2. We often hear, “You can do anything you put your mind to.” If you really, actually could, list 5 things you would do.

I am not sure if it is me but as I think about this list, everything that comes to mind prompts the question, Why couldn’t I do that? So no judgement please, but here is my list.

  • Buy an RV and spend 1 – 2 years travelling through USA and Canada.
  • Buy 100 acres somewhere fertile and wet grow most of my food and be a recluse
  • Own a superyacht and sail around the world, flying home when I needed a break and flying back when the crew brought her to somewhere interesting
  • Set each of my children up in comfortable debt free houses
  • Purchase a large property and set up a community for people who are struggling to find housing in this crazy world we are currently living in.

3. What physical acts would you attempt if you knew you would not fail?

Insert a few pole fitness moves here…. Particularly the ones that mostly men do that involve gravity defying stuff like my favourite Dimitry Politov

4. What are you doing this month that you have never done before?

This month we are planning to travel to Birdsville in Western Queensland and fly over the flood plains and the currently filled Lake Eyre. 2025 saw a record breaking amount of rain in this normally desert area and has created a once in a lifetime opportunity for people to see something that resembles an inland sea.

5. What is the weirdest or strangest substance you’ve bathed in?

I have never really bathed in anything other than water. Usually I add some kind of bubble bath product. Lush bubble bath bars are my go to. I have bathed in a lot of different water bodies though and that is probably where the weird comes in. One of the most memorable was the Mataranka Hot Springs. A series of thermal pools in Outback Australia. A kind of oasis with an amazing underwater view of moss and pig nosed turtles.
