“I’ve never seen the main beach so deserted”, I said to Hubby as we set off for our evening dip. “Just those two gentlemen walking along towards the Taverna”.

“Yes I know they’ve said there’s a tropical storm forecast for tonight, but it’s still quite hot at the moment! You’d think there’d be more people about”.

“And look, we’ve got all the sun loungers to ourselves now. We won’t have to walk all the way along to the end tonight before I take my wrap off”.

“Well … perhaps I should keep it on, just in case more people decide to walk along to the Taverna … though I don’t suppose we’ll have to reserve a table in advance tonight either!”
