Appropriate Language

Photo by Oleg Ivanov on Unsplash Things at my new school are going pretty well. The school grounds are nice, the staff are friendly, and the kids are mostly respectful. Which is refreshing and makes my day go much more smoothly. And then yesterday I was talking to a kid about something and the F word slipped out. not Francium (it was a chemistry class). Fuck At my last school which was the school where parents sent their ADHD, ADD, ASD, ODD, dyslexic, dysgraphic, anxious, school avoiding kids as a last ditch effort to have them actually finish high school the word Fuck found its way into a lot of sentences. Along with cunt, asshole, gay, and a lot of other offensive phrases. [...]

Over and Under

We have reached the end of week 2. I have learned about half the kid’s names. I have had an eventful practical session, remembered a few things about mainstream school that I had forgotten and learned a bunch about this particular school. Ginger and tumeric tea made with fresh roots is keeping my voice healthy. I started over and under the teacher clothes shots for a friend at the start of the year. I like the way the early morning light plays with my skin but I am still working out the angles. What do you think?

Back to School

In the Land Down Under, summer is at its peak. Where I live, daytime temperatures are routinely in the 30’s (Celsius) and nighttime temperatures are often around 20 degrees. Sometime back in 2025 I made a random decision to apply for a job. Full time for a term. I haven’t really interacted with this school before, so everything about it is unknown. What I do know is that I am heading back to mainstream-type schooling after several years working in an alternative model. I will be dealing with younger students, a fuller timetable and many more demands on my time. Today is the day I join all the other new teachers to be issued keys, laptops and, hopefully, finalised timetables. We will get [...]

Four am Cats

He looks cute in this photo, but at 4am not so much! It is four am. Dawn is approaching, the cats are circling, waiting for the moment when I decide it is daytime enough for them to go out. Sleep is a fantasy. Resigned to life, I make tea and then slide into a rabbit hole of my writing and old blog posts. Like this one from 8 January 2013. 1. What feels better, the moment before cumming, the moment of cumming or the moment right after cumming? Jake: The whole lot, really. I don’t think I can isolate a particular part. I get a lot of enjoyment out of watching Gemma cumming though.Gemma: For me it is the moment of cumming. I love when [...]

For a Follower

You are there. Saying hello, sending “gifts” being mindful. You are always a gentleman. In the chaos that is my mind and my life, I don’t always pause to really see your presence. But please know that your messages would be missed if they stopped. I hope you had the chance to spend time with your family over the holidays and that you are staying warm where you are. An older shot that I know you would appreciate

Happy New Year

The first sunset of the year was a cracker!! I am sitting at my kitchen bench sipping tea and reflecting on the fortnight that was Christmas – New Year and associated shenanigans. My laundry is littered with clothing and bedding from a week of visiting my parents and camping with what I am starting to consider as my real family. The parental visit was filled with stupid drama based on power plays and the frustration of someone whose mind and health are declining. It is a reminder that we never really know when we will reap what we sow in life. As I shake off the power plays and have rants that reflect the pain of long years of such twisted and toxic [...]

Christmas Night Frolicking

What does one do on Christmas night when one lives in the southern hemisphere? Put on your brand new light-up wings and frolic in the front yard of your house, of course! I am in love with these wings, which also have a flashing function. They are definitely going in the camper when we head out for NYE pineapple camping in a couple of days. What was your favourite Christmas gift?

A Christmas Message from Lara M To Every Member, At Every Level

My beautiful ones, As the year softens and the world slows under the hush of winter, I want to take a moment to speak directly to you. Not as a headline. Not as a product. But as a woman who sees you, appreciates you, and understands exactly why you are here. Christmas is a season of reflection. Of comfort. Of ritual. And for many of you, it is also a time when desire becomes louder. When fantasies feel closer to the surface. When you allow yourself, even just a little, to admit what you want and who you want to be beneath the expectations of the outside world. I want you to know something clearly as we close this year together. You belong [...]

The Year in Photos

Screenshot December 16; Identify five of your favourite photos from the year. I had a quick scroll through my phone and the album I keep my images in and came up with these At the start of the year, Cyclone Alfred threatened Brisbane. There was mass panic and hysteria as people unused to such a weather system prepared and then waited as Alfred changed course and seemed to tease the South East Queensland coast. Ultimately, it was a fizzer for many people, and those most affected lived to the south of Brisbane in New South Wales. It rained a lot, so Mr Jones and I took the opportunity to create some wet t-shirt shots On a grey day in June, Mr Jones found [...]

The Year In Review – Third Edition

Screenshot I am getting further and further behind with this thing. But here is the third installment of “2025: The Year in Review.” December 10 – A moment you felt proud this year and why I made a bucket hat! Earlier in the year, I connected with a local charity sewing group. Every week, an eclectic bunch meets to sew up items for a range of charities. Things we make include: baby items for young disadvantaged mothers and clothing, pencil cases and library bags for children entering foster care. One of the more challenging items we make is a bucket hat. Every time I went to sewing I would choose other options to sew rather than a bucket hat!! Including a pencil case. [...]
