Corner Time Prayer

Nick kneels in the corner. Denise, his girlfriend put him there an hour ago. He sassed her.

Denise is his Mistress. Were Nick a nation, her title would be Dictator for Life.

Inequality comforts Nick. He knows women are superior. As does Denise. Her natural authority awes man. Women strive to emulate her. Nick grovels in daily adoration.

She is a strict boss. If her slave breaks a rule, does sloppy work, misbehaves; she punishes him.

Sometimes Denise only spanks Nick. She knows that his guilt hurts more than the palm of her hand.

Impertinence is a grave crime. Far worse than momentary carelessness. Masculine defiance is impermissible. Mistresses crush it. Hard, unforgettable discipline reinforces a male’s awareness of his inadequacy.

Denise spanked Nick. Corner time followed.

Nick recited a penitential prayer:

He has repeated these nine lines for an hour.

Vocal cords already tired, increasingly sore knees, Nick begins to falter.

Mistress Denise will keep him in the corner for a few more hours. All the time, reciting the words of repentance.
